Arc of Ascendancy

The psychic bond between her donor-mother and Nova Celestia is growing stronger. The passenger that The Aiexa picked up without trying, Kit Bryar, holds a secret that the crew will have to unravel, since The Eagle, a more advanced ship, is after him. The crew on The Eagle will stop at nothing to find him.

Due to the choice made by Caius, Nova’s best friend’s older brother, events were altered and destinies have become undone. Caius’s choice allowed him to meet his beloved wife, Ellarai, but events now converge on a mysterious brown-haired young woman who will choose between killing everyone on The Aiexa—or saving them.

That heart-wrenching choice, which Nova Celestia has seen many times in her visions, approaches. It will mean survival or total annihilation of the entire crew, the only home she’s known all of her life.

Most disturbing of all, the mysterious woman making the choice of whether or not to destroy The Aiexa, has the same hair color as Nova; her psionic signature tells the crew that she must be another Seer. Nova resists marrying or having children for this reason, so that her descendants cannot endanger the ship.

During an important Influential Point, more than one crew member becomes stranded planetside when The Aiexa is forced to flee pursuing craft. The unthinkable happens, but the stranded crew on the planet Kateron uncover information that reveals why The Eagle’s crew is perusing Kit Bryar. The events that occur on Kateron will forever change Nova Celestia, altering the course that the crew of The Aiexa must take.
